Wiima iControl Updates
Wiima iControl is a logistics software solution originally developed to support our own internal needs — specifically for delivering fast, cost-efficient 4PL services and managing highly complex logistics projects where real-time material availability, inventory locations, and shipment status must always be accessible, no matter the time or place.
The system is built around a powerful pricelist management module, enhanced with integrated capabilities for:

Since the beginning of 2025, we have implemented more than 250 improvements to the Wiima platform — ranging from major functional redesigns and performance optimizations to minor issue resolutions and UI refinements.
These continuous enhancements ensure that iControl remains a robust, efficient, and user-friendly tool for end-to-end logistics management.
Calculating CO2 emissions estimates:
At Wiima, we apply a structured three-level hierarchy for estimating CO₂ emissions:
Primary data
Whenever valid and easily collectable primary emission data is available, we always use it as the first choice for maximum accuracy.
Ecotransit calculation
If primary data cannot be obtained, we rely on Ecotransit’s estimation models to determine emissions based on mode, route, and equipment.
Distance-based estimation
When neither of the above is available, emissions are calculated using distance.
We retrieve transport distance through Google Maps integration or — if required — estimate the direct distance (“as-the-crow-flies”) from loading and delivery coordinates, applying the appropriate emission factors to the calculated activity.
With a recent platform update, these emissions estimates are now visible already in the draft planning phase. This means that from the very beginning, you can evaluate and compare your transport options with a complete overview of:

Automated order processing:
We have begun exploring the exciting and opportunity-rich world of AI and its potential within logistics automation. While the possibilities are vast — and easy to get carried away with — our first implemented step focuses on practicality and immediate value.
We now have the capability to automatically generate draft transport orders directly from customer purchase orders, sales orders, or delivery notes.
This creates a faster, more accurate starting point for order fulfilment and reduces manual workload, laying the foundation for more advanced automation features to come.
To-Do List:
Simplicity often delivers the greatest results — and our design philosophy is to prioritize clarity and ease of use. While our customers’ logistics requirements can vary significantly, especially in highly specialized project logistics, achieving simplicity is not always straightforward.
With the new To-Do List, we believe we’ve succeeded. It provides coordinators with a clean, intuitive checklist that highlights what needs attention today — nothing more, nothing less.
